1. I am the legal owner of enrolled or soon to be enrolled dog/s and in accordance with NSW pet legislation, I acknowledge that my dog/s have been microchipped and my details are up to date on my dog/s microchip.

 

    2. I acknowledge that I am responsible for any damage caused by my dog to Happy Hounds         Farm property.

 

    3. I agree that if I do not collect my dog from Happy Hounds Farm within 14 days of the            date on which my dog is due to depart, without contacting the proprietors, I authorize              the proprietors of Happy Hound Farm to re-house my dog or make whatever other                    arrangements for my dog that are considered appropriate in the circumstances, at their          discretion.

    4. I grant Happy Hounds Farm permission to use pictures and videos taken of my dog for            business-related activities, including, but not limited to, advertising and marketing                  campaigns, website images, and other uses for promoting the services of Happy Hounds          Farm

 

     5. Happy Hounds Farm is not responsible for any damage to or loss of personal property               including but not limited to collars and leashes.

 

     6. Happy Hounds Farm will not release your dog/s to anyone but yourself, your nominated           second contact or a third party you have specified in writing.

      7. I confirm that my dog/s is not a restricted breed and has not been declared dangerous              or menacing.

 

     8. I have an obligation to immediately advise Happy Hounds Farm of any change in                       circumstances to my dog/s, including recent or new health issues or other concerns                 which may affect their suitability for day care.

 

Socialisation-

      9. I acknowledge that my dog will be socialized with multiple other dogs at Happy Hounds           Farm, while every care is taken, whilst my dog/s are playing they may sustain scratches,           punchers, ligament damage or other injuries. Happy Hounds Farm is not responsible               for any injuries that may occur to my dog/s.

 

    10. I agree my dog/s have never harmed or shown any threatening behaviour towards                      another dog or human.

 

     11. Any dog showing signs of aggression to other dogs or humans with lose the privilege of           attending Happy Hounds Farm. If this occurs, we will attempt to contact you                               immediately. If we are unable to reach you, we will keep your dog separated from all                 other dogs until you are able to pick your dog up.

 

Health-

    12. I certify that my dog is in good health and has not been in contact with any                                  communicational diseases within the last 4 weeks.

 

   13. I agree to let Happy Hounds Farm know if my dog comes into contact with a                                communicational disease or has recently stayed in a boarding kennel.

   14. My dog is on an oral preventive for flea and ticks. I agree that if fleas or                                        parasites are found on my dog on arrival, the proprietors and/or staff of Happy Hounds            Farm at Johns River are authorized to apply treatment appropriate for my dog and                    charge me accordingly and I agree that such charge will be payable on my dog’s                          departure from Happy Hounds Farm.

 

   15. In the event that my dog requires veterinary attention whilst in the care at Happy                      Hounds Farm. (Happy Hounds Farm will first attempt to contact you via phone. If we                are unable to contact you, we will attempt to contact your second contact on your file. If          we are unable to make contact with any of these people for instructions, or if we deem              the problem to be a medical emergency, we will transport your dog to Camvet.) I                        authorize Happy Hounds Farm to seek veterinary assistance from Camvet, located 1                  Bayside Circuit, Laurieton. Further I give my authority for the veterinarian to treat my              dog and I will fully reimburse the cost of same to Happy Hounds Farm before my dog is            released from Happy Hounds Farm or the veterinarians care.

 

  16. Happy Hounds Farm shall not be held responsible for Canine Influenza, Paralysis Tick,            Snake bite or any other injury, sickness that may occur to my dog whilst attending at                Happy Hounds Farm.

 

   17. I understand that special needs, very young and elderly dogs can have weakened                        immune system and are more susceptible to illnesses, injury, and Happy Hounds Farm            is not responsible for any injury, sickness that may occur to my dog whilst attending                  Happy Hounds Farm.

 

   18. My dog is up to date with C5 vaccination which I have provided proof with a certificate            of vaccination from the veterinary clinic where my dog was vaccinated, and my dog is              desexed if over the age of 8 months.  

 

Payments & Cancelations

   19. I agree my dog is attending Happy Hounds Farm for ongoing daycare at the cost of-

         $52 for one day a week, $94 for two days a week, $141 for 3 days a week, $91 per day for               two dogs and $136 per day for 3 dogs for the period of 2023 or until I notify Happy                       Hounds Farm that my dog will no longer attend.

  20. I agree that if my dog defecates in their transport cage, a $30 fee will apply to cover the             cost of cleaning and the replacement of bedding. I agree that such charge will be                       payable on my dog’s departure from Happy Hounds Farm.

 

    21. I agree to pay all fees in full by Friday, 5pm of the same week my dog/s attends Happy               Hounds Farm.  Failing to pay on time may result in my dogs next daycare appointment             being cancelled.

​

   22. I agree in the event that I need to cancel my dogs booking, a minimum of 24 hours'                     notice before my dogs booking date must be given. All cancelations within the 24 hours             of a dogs booking, must pay the days fee in full. (Individual circumstances will be taken           into account such as if your dog has injured itself or has fallen ill within the 24 hours)
